Ordering
How are payments processed?
We keep it nice and easy: you can pay with any major credit card, and we run everything through Square. That means all your payment details are wrapped up in layers of encryption—yep, all that safety jazz is fully covered. In other words, it’s secure and straightforward, so you can shop without a second thought.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Life happens, we get it! If you need to tweak or cancel your order, just give us a shout as soon as possible through the contact form. We’ll do our best to catch it before it ships out and make any changes you need. Just keep in mind that once it’s on its way, it’s a little harder to intercept, but we’ll always do what we can.
What if I want multiples of an item.
Most of our pieces are one-of-a-kind, which means once it’s gone, it’s usually gone for good. That said, if you’ve fallen hard for something and want more than one, reach out to Dixie through the contact form. She’ll let you know if a similar piece or a duplicate might be possible, depending on availability.
Can I track my order once it ships?
Absolutely! The moment your order heads out the door, we’ll send you a tracking number so you can follow its journey right to your doorstep. You’ll know exactly where your goodies are and when to expect them—no guesswork needed!
02. Shipment
When and how are my items shipped?
We like to keep things moving quickly! If you get your order in by 5 p.m., we’ll usually have it on its merry way the very next business day. We send everything out via USPS Ground Advantage unless you have a special request. So, basically, your goodies will be heading out the door in a flash and arriving before you know it!
How much are shipping charges?
We like to keep shipping simple and happy. If your order’s over 50 bucks, congrats—your Ground Advantage shipping is totally on the house! If it’s under 50 dollars, we just pop on a flat $5 fee, no matter where you’re at in the lower 48. Easy peasy, no surprises!
What if I need expedited shipping services?
Hey, sometimes you need your goodies in a hurry—we totally get it! If you’re in a rush, just drop Dixie a quick note through our contact form and let us know you need expedited shipping. We’ll figure out the fastest option, let you know the extra cost, and you can decide if that works for you. Basically, just give us a shout and we’ll make it happen!
When placing the order, a day of shipment is indicated. After the order has been placed, the same delivery time will also be stated on the order confirmation. It is therefore never possible that during the order, the shipping day on the website, is different than on the order confirmation.
Care
How do I care for my item?
Taking care of your treasures is pretty straightforward! Most items can go through a gentle cycle in the washer and dryer—just stick to the delicate setting and you shouldn’t see any shrinkage. But if you want to play it extra safe, hand washing with a gentle soap is the way to go.
Now, when it comes to afghans, blankets, and throws, you can absolutely toss them in the dryer if you want. But for hats and scarves, it’s best to let them lay out and air dry so they keep their shape and stay looking fabulous. Easy as that!
04. Returns, exchanges and complaints
What about Returns & Exchanges.
So here’s the deal: because each piece is basically a one-of-a-kind treasure, we don’t really do returns or exchanges. Think of it like finding that perfect little gem: once it’s yours, it’s all yours. But hey, that’s part of the charm—every item is unique and specially yours to keep!
What if my item arrives damaged?
No worries—we’ve got your back. If something arrives looking like it went a round with the mail gremlins, just let us know through our Damaged Goods contact form. Snap a few photos so we can see what happened, and we’ll sort out a refund for you. That way we can also let the shipper know and handle any rebates on our end. Easy fix!
